mobile photography workshop in Haarlem lifestyle photography picturelyspoken marianne hope

Last Sunday I gave a fun mobile photography workshop in Hééérlijk’s cosy and unique entertainment bunker. I taught about the fundamentals of mobile photography and mobile editing. The workshop was held in an old fort called Fort Penningsveer in Haarlemmerliede, which was built around 1900 and is one of the 42 forts belonging to the theorem of Amsterdam.

The participants were greeted with a wonderful fig tartlet and a mint tea. I was lucky to have my good friend Dirk (@macenzo on Instagram) with me to assist me and to document the workshop for me. Together we took some behind the scenes pictures that you can see below.

I think the pictures speak for themselves; beautiful and inspiring setting, lovely people and delicious food. Our conversations flowed in both Dutch, English and Swedish/Norwegian this time, and I even had two participants coming all the way from Brussels, Belgium (almost 3 hours ride). Tack/merci to you both for literally going the extra mile:)

A big thank you to all participants for coming, dankje Dirk for helping out and being my travel mate and photographer and dankje Femke and Eddy for being heeeeeeerlijk!
